A soap bar inspired by my Khmer ancestry and the Sanskrit epic The Ramayana. In the Southeast Asian version, Sovanmaccha is the mermaid that has a love affair with Hanuman, the monkey general (it’s complicated).
Handmade with Cambrian blue clay, Japanese indigo, a generous swirl of volcanic ash and a mix of black lava salt and Himalayan pink salt. This bar soap is rich in minerals helping you to detox while drawing moisture to your skin. Blended with notes of geranium, Jasmine Sambac absolute, ylang ylang, bergamot, coriander, and pink pepper essential oil.
Please note: Our soaps are made in small batches using the cold process method. Due to the handcrafted nature of our soap, please allow for variations. Handmade soap will last longer if kept dry between uses. Please use a draining soap dish and keep it away from streams of water.
Organic ingredients: olive oil, calendula extract, coconut oil, rice bran oil, sodium hydroxide, avocado oil, fair-trade shea butter, organic oil, kaolin clay, Cambrian blue clay, indigo, volcanic ash, essential oil blend, black lava salt, pink salt.
