Where Flowers & Herbs Grow Wild & Free
My mornings begin in the garden—hands in the soil, dew-kissed leaves brushing against my fingers, the air humming softly with bees and infused with the fragrance of fresh herbs. More than a garden, this is a living, breathing extension of my work, a sanctuary tended with mindful intention and care.
This garden began during a time of personal loss. In 2019, I lost my father. Not long after, I dreamt of him offering warmth and a quiet message I carried with me into waking life. In my culture, dreams are bridges between worlds. That spring, I began building this space to honor my father and our shared love of nature.
The first season brought challenges - salty soil and stunted blooms - but when one zinnia flowered, I knew healing had begun. Gardening became an act of remembrance, a way to honor what had been lost and cherish what remains. With each seed tucked into the earth, I rebuilt not just a garden, but a space for healing, reflection, and renewal.
Flowers and herbs became a quiet language for grief and love. Calendula reminded me that warmth returns after winter. Nettles taught resilience. Lavender offered comfort. Each plant holds its own wisdom; in tending to them, I tend to myself.
Now that both of my parents have passed, this garden has become my quiet tribute to them - where love continues to grow. Just like the gardens they once nurtured, our flowers here are grown organically and sustainably - hands to dirt, earth to heart.
The Gentle Power of Homegrown Herbs
In the apothecary garden, an ever-changing tapestry of medicinal plants thrives:
-
Calendula, steeped in golden oil for skin-soothing salves.
-
Chamomile, drying in bundles for a restful evening tea.
-
Rosemary, distilled into clarifying hydrosols.
-
Nettles, infused into nourishing herbal teas.
Each herb is grown with care, harvested by hand, and crafted into small-batch remedies that honor the land and tradition.
The Joyful Art of Flower Farming
The garden has become a gathering place - through shared stories, seasonal flowers, and community connection. Supporting locally grown blooms isn’t just a purchase - it’s a celebration of sustainability and mindful living. When you choose Remy & Rose bouquets and arrangements, you're receiving more than flowers - you’re joining a story rooted in care, intention, and the natural rhythm of the seasons.
Beyond the apothecary, the flower fields bloom with wild joy:
-
Clouds of cosmos whisper of summer warmth.
-
Heirloom roses carry stories in every ruffled petal.
-
Fragrant lavender hums with bees and restfulness.
-
Snapdragons, playful and bright, reach toward the sun.
-
Bold dahlias unfurl in late summer, layered and full of color.
Many of these blooms are woven into my handmade botanical soaps, herbal oils, and hydrosols - each one reflecting the land, the season, and the care that nurtured them.
This land is a partnership. I never force it to produce. I listen, I wait, I move with it. The result is a collection of offerings that echo nature’s essence: patience, intention, and deep reverence.
Every petal, every leaf holds a story - one I’m honored to share with you.
