Our Story
Where care begins with craft, and healing grows from the garden.
Remy & Rose was founded in 2014, beginning as a small soap shop born from a simple need: to soothe my skin from the dryness of Colorado’s high-altitude climate. Years earlier, I learned to make cold-process soap as a remedy for my sensitive skin - but soon discovered it was also a doorway into something much deeper.
I fell in love with the rhythm of it all: pouring oils, stirring in clays and herbs, waiting for each bar to cure just right. Encouraged by my husband and the growing support of our early customers, I slowly expanded into body butters, deodorant creams, and other essentials. Each offering was created with purpose and care, always grounded in the seasons.
But it wasn’t until I experienced a personal loss that Remy & Rose truly began to bloom into something more. In the quiet after grief, I turned to the garden not for answers, but for presence. I started planting as a way to make it through the day, and in that simple act of tending, something sacred opened. With my hands in the soil, I felt held.
What began as craft became ritual. What began in the need for relief became a way of reconnecting - to the land, to myself, and to something much older than both.
From Soil to Skin, With Intention
Today, Remy & Rose is a reflection of this journey - of returning to nature’s rhythm and letting that rhythm shape the way I live and create. Many of the herbs and flowers I use are grown right here, using no-till methods that honor the land’s ability to restore itself.
Hydrosols are hand-distilled outdoors, fresh from the garden. Soaps are poured, cut, and cured slowly. Each small batch carries the imprint of its season - rooted in real time and real care.
For You, From the Garden
When you bring a piece of Remy & Rose into your home, you’re not just receiving a product, you’re entering a slower, softer way of being. A way of tending to yourself that is rooted in Earth, ritual, and rest.
What began as a way to heal my own heart has become a space where others can slow down, reconnect, and feel nourished - inside and out.
Hands to heart, heart to earth.
Warmly,
Chatti
